A view in years gone by when trains used to commute to and from Ormskirk and Rainford through Skelmersdale, hauling goods and coal as well as passengers. This is looking up from near Liverpool Road towards the Skelmersdale Railway Station in the distance with the Orme Mill Chimney to the left (later to become Callows Engineering, and now the T.P.T training Centre).
