Watkinson Family of Skelmersdale

Does anyone know anything about “Jim”, a nephew of Mrs & Mrs J Watkinson who lived at High Street Farm, Skelmersdale in 1915? Could this be John the poultry farmer, a local tenor singer  or a brother? In August 1915 Jim was staying near Towcester, Northamptonshire, possibly in the army. Any information on Jim or current descendants is most welcome. Thanks!

  1. This sounds like my Grandad, Jim Watkinson.Although from Skem originally he lived in Roby Mill with his wife Olive (nee Ashcroft) and his 2 sons Frank (my dad) and Donald. He had a haulage and coach business and was quite a character and also a devoted Methodist. All the Watkinson clan were very musical. Hope this helps.
