Skem's Deein Dialect CD - Sombre Memories With Humour

 Elizabeth Banks & Sarah Mayor

Step back in time and relive the old days as told by Elizabeth Banks (left) and Sarah Mayor (right). This material was kindly donated to Skelmersdale Heritage Society by Sarah's daughter-in-law Emily Mayor and Lizzie's daughter, Jessie Marsh (nee Banks).

The recording was done in the 1970s and is full of humourous tales and anecdotes. Listen to Sarah as she tells Lizzie how her job in a funeral directors ended up scaring the living daylight out of one of her own family - it's a classic. We guarantee you'll laugh your socks off!
