It was one of the greatest - if not the greatest - days in Skem's sporting history.
Skelmersdale United brought the FA Amateur Cup back from Wembley after an impressive 4-1 win over Dagenham. Thousands of Skemmers made the trip south for the final, which was at the height of Skem's success.
When they got home, hundreds lined the streets to hail their heroes' return.
