We have a number of items for sale, including books, pictures, audio CDs and DVD's, all of which are produced by Skelmersdale Heritage Society and are available to buy here online or at any of our regular exhibitions we hold in the Skelmersdale and Ormskirk areas.

All money raised through the sale of these products goes back into the Society funds and therefore helps us to continue to promote Skelmersdale's history and heritage.

Skem's Deein Dialect (Part 1)

Step back in time and relive the old days as told by Elizabeth Banks and Sarah Mayor. This material was kindly donated to Skelmersdale Heritage Society by Sarah's daughter-in-law Emily Mayor and Lizzie's daughter, Jessie Marsh (nee Banks).

The recording was done in the 1970s and is full of humourous tales and anecdotes.

This is the Society's first DVD and documents the history and memories of people who remember Skelmersdale's famous Lane.
