Edith’s new website

I have just started my own website. It is very much a work in progress at the moment, as I learn how to do it! It will be full of nostalgic stories of the people I have known and the places I have been. To all the people who have told me that they enjoyed my stories and old photos – come visit my site and please leave a comment on my blog pages!

About Edith C

Born in Tawd Bridge, attended Digmoor school and chapel. Migrated to Australia in 1958, but have been back to Upholland for visits on several occasions since. Was a teacher, now retired. I would like to keep in touch with the people of Tawd Bridge, Upholland and Skelmersdale, I still have a fond and deep connection with the home of my childhood.

  1. Hi I have photos of us walking day from digmoor church, you and Harold. Good times as I recall

  2. Hi Pamela, nice of you to leave a comment, and what a surprise to hear from you. Of course I remember you very well, you and your family used to live a few doors up from my Gran at Tawd Bridge. You should try uploading some of those photos to the Heritage Society website, there are lots of people who would love to see them
