Mission statement

To preserve and promote Skelmersdale's farming and coal mining heritage and exhibit all aspects of local history at various points around the town, particularly to the younger generation and the influx of new residents since the town's major development.

Been great looking takes me back i lived in Tawd bridge from 58 to 65 @ 442 Ormskirk rd and a mate of mine (can’t think of first name ) Lynch lived in the Tawd bridge hotel The Tawd River is still there but in a culvert i worked on it
